Talas 1985 CD Digipak

Talas return with 1985, their long-awaited 12-track CD digipak that picks up where the legendary hard rock band left off. Originally formed in the early 70s and active until 1985, Talas were a vital part of the early 80s hard rock scene, known for big riffs, seductive choruses, and killer solos. 1985 captures the original spirit of the band, featuring mostly tracks written in 1985, remastered and presented exactly as they were created.

The lineup features bassist Billy Sheehan, drummer Mark Miller, powerhouse vocalist Phil Naro, and new guitarist Kire Najdovski, with former guitarist Mitch Perry guesting on two tracks. Songs like I'll Take The Night, Don't Try To Stop Me Tonight, Do You Feel Any Better?, and Close To The Killer showcase the band’s classic hard rock style with a raw, honest, and exhilarating feel.

Recorded using a mobile setup in Miller’s home and engineered by Russ Mackay, 1985 delivers a cohesive, high-energy listening experience. The album also features harmonies by Phil Naro’s son James and artwork by legendary designer Hugh Syme, evoking the iconic 80s vibe.
