Anthrax For All Kings CD (Jewel Case, 2016, Nuclear Blast)

Anthrax For All Kings CD, the eleventh studio album from American thrash metal pioneers Anthrax and one of the defining releases of their later career. Released on 26 February 2016, For All Kings combines the band's trademark thrash metal aggression with powerful melodic vocals, intricate guitar work, heavy riffs and groove-driven arrangements. This jewel case CD edition features the album originally released through Nuclear Blast Records in Europe.

Featuring Joey Belladonna (vocals), Scott Ian (rhythm guitar), Jon Donais (lead guitar), Frank Bello (bass) and Charlie Benante (drums), For All Kings was the first Anthrax studio album to feature guitarist Jon Donais. Produced and mixed by Jay Ruston, the album followed 2011's Grammy-nominated Worship Music and continued Anthrax's established balance of uncompromising thrash metal and strong melodic songwriting. Its striking cover artwork was created by acclaimed comic-book artist Alex Ross, with the overall album design by Charlie Benante.

Standout tracks include "You Gotta Believe", "Monster at the End", "For All Kings", "Breathing Lightning", "Evil Twin" and the epic "Blood Eagle Wings". Reaching No. 9 on the US Billboard 200, For All Kings demonstrated Anthrax's continued relevance as one of the American Big Four of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth.

Recommended if you like Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Exodus, Testament, Overkill, Death Angel, Flotsam & Jetsam, Forbidden, Heathen and Municipal Waste.
