Lex Legion Self Titled CD (Jewel Case, 2026, MNRK Heavy)

Lex Legion is the self-titled debut album from the heavy metal supergroup Lex Legion, released in 2026 through MNRK Heavy. The band brings together four musicians associated with the classic late-1980s King Diamond lineup: guitarist Pete Blakk, guitarist and keyboardist Andy La Rocque, bassist Hal Patino, and drummer Mikkey Dee, joined by vocalist Nils K. Rue of Pagan's Mind. The result is a powerful blend of classic heavy metal, hard rock energy, soaring vocals, melodic guitar work and dynamic arrangements.

Featuring nine tracks, including Sleep Eternally, Gypsy Tears, When The Stars Align, (I Am) The Resurrected, Dreams Of Darkness and Life Eternal, the album balances driving riffs with memorable melodies and rich vocal harmonies. The musicians' experience across heavy metal, hard rock and power metal gives the record a seasoned yet energetic sound, drawing on the spirit of traditional metal while delivering fresh material for longtime fans of the genre.

Lex Legion is an appealing choice for listeners who enjoy classic heavy metal, melodic hard rock and technically accomplished musicianship. This 2026 CD debut brings together an experienced lineup with strong songwriting, expressive vocals and guitar-driven arrangements, making it a worthwhile addition to collections featuring King Diamond, Motörhead, Pagan's Mind and other influential metal acts.
