Marilyn Manson One Assassination Under God Chapter 2 CD  (Jewel Case, 2026, Nuclear Blast Records)

Marilyn Manson One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 CD is the thirteenth studio album from American rock artist Marilyn Manson, released in 2026 through Nuclear Blast Records. The album follows One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, released in 2024, continuing the musical and thematic journey established by the first chapter.

Written and co-produced by Marilyn Manson and multi-instrumentalist and producer Tyler Bates, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 brings together dark alternative rock, industrial rock and alternative metal with heavy guitars, electronic textures, atmospheric arrangements, dramatic melodies and Manson's distinctive vocals. Bates's collaboration with Manson has also shaped several important releases in Manson's later catalogue, including The Pale Emperor, Heaven Upside Down and Chapter 1.

Recorded between April 2023 and April 2024 at The Abattoir in Los Angeles, NRG Studios in North Hollywood and EastWest Studios in Hollywood, the album features Manson on vocals, Tyler Bates on guitars, bass and keyboards, and Gil Sharone on drums. The production combines weighty instrumentation with cinematic atmosphere, dark textures and melodic songwriting, creating a dramatic and immersive sound across the album's 42:58 CD running time.

One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 features the singles Exit Wound, Front Toward Enemy and Unalive, alongside tracks including Don't Answer the Door, All the Vilest Things, None of the Suns, Lucifer's Teardrop, The Arsonist and the six-minute-plus closing track Enantiomorph. Front Toward Enemy had previously appeared as a B-side to the 2024 Raise the Red Flag single before being included on Chapter 2.

The album's artwork is a watercolour self-portrait created by Marilyn Manson, extending the visual and artistic identity surrounding the One Assassination Under God project. The album was also accompanied by a virtual art exhibition featuring Manson's original visual works alongside music and audio commentary.

Released internationally on August 14, 2026, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 was issued on CD, LP, cassette and digital formats. The album also achieved strong chart results internationally, including a number 13 debut on the Australian Albums Chart, a top-five position in Germany and number three in Austria, demonstrating the continuing international audience for Marilyn Manson's music.

For longtime Marilyn Manson fans and collectors, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 represents an important later-era release and the second chapter of a major album project. Its combination of industrial rock textures, alternative metal weight, dark melodies, cinematic production and theatrical presentation makes it a natural addition to collections focused on Marilyn Manson, industrial music and alternative metal.

Recommended for fans of Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Ministry, Static-X, Korn, Alice Cooper and other artists combining heavy rock, industrial textures, dark alternative music and theatrical presentation.
