Revelations of Oblivion is the third studio album by legendary death metal pioneers Possessed. This long-awaited follow-up to 1986’s Beyond the Gates is the band’s first full-length studio album in 33 years, and it made an immediate impact, entering the UK Rock & Metal Singles and Albums Charts at #7 and the Billboard Top Current Album Sales chart at #59.

Released under Nuclear Blast, the album was announced alongside the promotional single No More Room in Hell on March 16, 2019. The striking album artwork was created by acclaimed artist Zbigniew Bielak, known for his work with Absu, Deicide, Ghost, Gorguts, and Paradise Lost.

Revelations of Oblivion features a refreshed lineup, with only Jeff Becerra remaining from the classic 80s roster, joined by drummer Emilio Marquez, bassist Robert Cardenas, and guitarists Daniel Gonzalez and Claudeous Creamer. The album also introduced Possessed’s first cinematic music video, with Graven directed by Scott Hansen and featuring a cameo by actor Peter Stormare, alongside a live video for Shadowcult.
