Winds of Time is the powerful second full-length studio album from American NWOTHM rising stars Wings of Steel—a band rapidly becoming one of the genre’s breakout names. After hitting 1.5 million YouTube views in just three months, sharing festival stages in Europe with Iron Maiden, and touring the U.S. with Sabaton, the duo is helping spearhead the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal for a new generation of fans.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2019 by vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist/bassist Parker Halub, Wings of Steel blends classic heavy metal, hard rock, and epic melodic flair into a sound that’s both timeless and modern. Their acclaimed debut EP (2022) and first full-length Gates of Twilight (2023) earned strong reviews—Germany’s Rock Hard even comparing Leo’s vocals to Geoff Tate meets Bruce Dickinson.

Winds of Time pushes the band further, offering a dynamic collection of songs rooted in themes of conflict, unity, hope, and the state of the modern world. Written, recorded, and produced by Unnermark and Halub in California (Sept–Nov 2024), the album features drums by Damien Rainaud, who also handled mixing and mastering.
