Evermore Mournbraid CD (Jewel Case, 2026, Scarlet Records)

Mournbraid is the third full-length studio album from Swedish melodic power metal band Evermore, delivering a powerful combination of melodic power metal, traditional heavy metal and classic songwriting with a distinctly Scandinavian character. Released in 2026 via Scarlet Records, this jewel case CD presents Evermore at their most confident and refined.

Drawing from the rich traditions of European power metal and classic heavy metal, Evermore balance soaring melodies, driving riffs, expressive vocals and memorable choruses without sacrificing the heavier edge of their sound. Mournbraid is an album built around strong songwriting and detailed musicianship, moving comfortably between anthemic power metal, darker melodic passages and classic heavy-metal aggression.

The album features a varied collection of songs including Underdark, Nightstar Odyssey, Titans, Oath Of Apathy, Ravens At The Gates and the title track Mournbraid. Each track contributes to an album that rewards both immediate listening and repeated plays, with layered guitar work, dynamic arrangements and an emphasis on melody running throughout.

Evermore's sound will appeal to fans of melodic and traditional metal who appreciate the balance between powerful riffs and memorable songwriting. Mournbraid carries the spirit of classic heavy metal while presenting it through a modern Swedish power-metal lens, making it an excellent choice for listeners looking beyond the established names of the genre.

Presented in a collectible CD jewel case edition, Mournbraid is an essential physical release for fans of Evermore, Swedish power metal, melodic heavy metal and the new generation of bands keeping classic metal traditions alive.

Recommended if you like: Edguy, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Helloween, Kamelot, Angra, HammerFall and melodic European heavy metal, Mournbraid is a strong addition to any modern power metal collection.
