Frozen Crown The Legend of the Six Kings CD (Digipak, 2026, Napalm Records)

The Legend of the Six Kings is the sixth studio album from Italian heavy power metal band Frozen Crown, released through Napalm Records. The album takes the band's energetic power metal sound in a darker and more narrative direction, combining fast guitar work, powerful vocals, driving drums, melodic arrangements and massive vocal harmonies. Across ten tracks, Frozen Crown create an epic fantasy-inspired journey filled with energetic melodies and memorable choruses. Songs such as Lightning In The Sky, Who Wants To Burn In Heaven, Reborn and The One establish the album's dramatic and adventurous character.

The album develops Frozen Crown's established melodic style while introducing heavier and darker elements. The One features an intricate three-guitar arrangement with harmonised solos, while Winter Hearts combines heavy riffs, growled vocals and a chantable chorus. The band also delivers a power metal interpretation of the Goo Goo Dolls classic Iris, contrasting its ballad atmosphere with faster drums and dramatic vocals. The title track pushes further into epic melodic death metal territory, combining Giada “Jade” Etro's vocals with fierce growls and clean singing from guitarist Federico Mondelli.

For fans of modern power metal, melodic metal and epic heavy metal, The Legend of the Six Kings offers a polished combination of technical guitar work, dramatic storytelling, catchy choruses and powerful vocal arrangements. The 2026 CD Digipak edition presents Frozen Crown's latest chapter in a physical format, making it an appealing addition for collectors and listeners who enjoy energetic European power metal with darker themes and a strong fantasy atmosphere.
