Godflesh Decay CD (Digisleeve, 2026, Relapse Records)

Decay is the tenth and penultimate studio album from British industrial metal pioneers Godflesh, released through Relapse Records. The album continues the band's signature fusion of crushing distorted guitars, programmed rhythms, heavy bass, stark atmospheres, and Justin Broadrick's distinctive vocals, delivering a bleak and uncompromising industrial metal sound.

The six-track album was developed from the same recording sessions as 2023's Purge, but takes the material in a darker and heavier direction. From the punishing opener "Master and Slave" to the expansive closing track "Consume Me," Decay emphasizes oppressive grooves, mechanical rhythms, dense guitar textures, and a stark atmosphere that reflects Godflesh's influential approach to heavy music.

For collectors and longtime fans of industrial metal, post-metal, and extreme heavy music, the Decay CD is an essential addition to any Godflesh collection. This release captures the band's distinctive combination of mechanical heaviness, abrasive textures, and dark atmosphere in a concise six-track studio statement.
