Serenity The Last Knight CD (Digipak, 2020, Napalm Records)

The Last Knight is the seventh full-length studio album from Austrian symphonic power metal band Serenity, released through Napalm Records on January 31, 2020. Inspired by the life and legacy of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, the album combines symphonic metal, melodic power metal and epic storytelling with soaring vocals, powerful guitar riffs, orchestral arrangements and memorable melodies. Across 12 tracks, songs such as The Last Knight, Invictus, Set The World On Fire and Keeper Of The Knights showcase Serenity's grand and melodic approach to modern European metal.

The album balances heavy guitar-driven passages with orchestral textures, dramatic arrangements and expressive vocals from Georg Neuhauser. My Kingdom Comes, Queen Of Avalon and My Farewell add further melodic and atmospheric depth, while Down To Hell and Wings Of Pride bring a heavier edge to the album. The closing acoustic version of Souls And Sins provides a more restrained finale. Produced by Sascha Paeth and Serenity, The Last Knight delivers a polished, expansive sound that combines cinematic atmosphere with the band's established melodic metal style.

For fans of symphonic metal, melodic power metal and epic European metal, The Last Knight offers a compelling combination of historical storytelling, orchestral arrangements, soaring vocals and powerful riffs. The 2020 physical CD edition is presented as a four-panel Digipak and makes an appealing addition for Serenity collectors and listeners who enjoy dramatic, melody-driven metal with a strong sense of scale and atmosphere.
