Formed in Osaka, Japan at the end of 1998, Blaze began performing live in 1999 and quickly built momentum within the underground heavy metal scene. Their early 2-song demo See The Light (2001) laid the groundwork for a sound inspired by classic hard rock and heavy metal legends such as Scorpions, Rainbow, and Heavy Load.

After years of refining their craft, Blaze independently released their self-titled debut album in 2007. The release gained strong international recognition, leading to a high-demand CD and vinyl reissue in 2012. In 2014, the band followed up with the EP The Rock Dinosaur and made their European live debut, further cementing their reputation as a rising force in traditional metal.

Out Through The Door is Blaze’s second full-length studio album and a confident statement of their no-frills, hard-hitting style.
