Swedish heavy metal outfit Teaser Sweet are stronger than ever on thier fourth full-length release Night Stalker, their most accomplished album to date. Formed in 2013, the band began by covering Kiss before quickly shifting toward original material, releasing a demo followed by three albums and an EP: Hit and Run (2015), In the Night (EP, 2017), Hypnotized (2018), and Monster (2020). Over the years they’ve earned a solid reputation in Sweden’s metal underground.

The current lineup features Therese Damberg on vocals, her brother Marcus Damberg on guitar, Hampus Steenberg on bass, and Kent Svensson on drums. Therese’s commanding, melodic vocal style evokes the power of Leather Leone, Kate from Acid, and Lucifer’s Johanna, though she cites Doro Pesch and classic heavy metal singers such as Rob Halford as her primary influences.

Sweden has become a hotbed for high-quality female-fronted metal, and Teaser Sweet stand firmly among the genre’s rising names. Musically, Night Stalker draws on the band’s love of Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Dio, and Europe, while tracks like “Deep in the Woods” channel unmistakable Iron Maiden energy through galloping bass lines and classic metal drive. Songs such as “Cold Is the Fire” and “Turn Me On” hit hard with sharp riffs, strong choruses, and the band’s most confident songwriting to date.
