Creatures II is the second full-length studio album from Brazilian hard rock / New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal force Creatures, delivering a darker, heavier and more mature evolution of their sound.

Formed in 2019 in Curitiba, Brazil, Creatures emerged as part of a passionate and determined underground movement preserving classic heavy metal and hard rock traditions in a scene largely dominated by extreme metal. Alongside bands like Trovão, Creatures quickly established themselves as one of the strongest torchbearers of this traditional sound. After releasing several singles, the band issued their acclaimed debut album Creatures in 2021 via Iron Oxide Records. Now signed to High Roller Records, the band returns with their most fully realised statement to date.

Recorded between September 2024 and March 2025 at Heavy Tron Studio, Creatures II was engineered by Arthur Migotto (Hazy Hamlet) and produced by Mateus Cantaleano and Migotto. Cantaleano also wrote all music and lyrics, shaping an album that blends classic heavy metal power with hard rock melody and a darker, more sinister edge.

The album lineup features Marc Brito on vocals, Mateus Cantaleano on guitar, Ricke Nunes on bass, and Sidnei Dubiella on drums, with guest contributions from Caio Vidal on keyboards and additional vocals by Arthur Migotto. Musically, Creatures II balances driving riffs, melodic arpeggios, powerful vocal harmonies and catchy choruses with minor-key darkness and expressive guitar solos.

Often compared to a blend of Dokken, Ratt, and Judas Priest, Creatures channel these influences without imitation, crafting dynamic songs that feel authentic and modern while remaining rooted in classic metal tradition. Compared to the debut, Creatures II is heavier, darker, and more cohesive, benefiting from a full-band recording process that adds depth and power to the arrangements.
